i will get you the dimensions i used. there is no specific or laid down dimensions to follow. you construct according to how you want it

Why clay bricks and not cement blocks?

cement blocks cannot withstand the heat used in frying the gari. the cement will eventually flake due to the heat but clay bricks on the other hand is the direct opposite. clay bricks are made with heat and is therefore ideal due to its ability to withstand extreme heat

That makes a lot of sense.
The chimney is made of cement blocks, I guess because that part will not be subjected to such intensity of heat as the other part made of clay bricks.
I wish I knew the right terms to use for the various parts. haha.
